The difference between the two formulas...
The blend with kava kava is meant for those who struggle with insomnia, or who need a little bit stronger of a sleep aid.
The blend made without Kava Kava is for those who may be younger in age, or may not need as strong of a blend. This blend can also be useful to ease anxiety during the day by taking only a third of the regular dose recommended for night time use.
🌿 Please keep in mind that both of these formulas may take up to an hour before taking effect. It's not a sudden change... it's a gradual ease.

🌿 Skullcap may provide significant antioxidant effects, which could make it a great option for reducing anxiety. While skullcap may help with anxiety, it also can help those who experience insomnia and other sleeping problems, such as restlessness, muscle tension and clenching the jaws. A skullcap tea or tincture could be useful before bed to help you relax, ward off any anxiety and give you some well-deserved and much-needed sleep.
🌿 Hops are the female flowers from the hop plant, Humulus lupulus. They're most commonly found in beer, where they help produce its bitter flavor...studies suggest that hops may help improve sleep quality. Please note that hops are in fact gluten free!
🌿 Passion flower may be helpful in reducing anxiety and has long been known as a folk remedy. It’s believed that certain compounds found in passion flower may interact with some receptors in the brain provoking relaxation. Because passion increases GABA, the activity of some brain cells that may be causing anxiety is lowered and makes you feel more relaxed. Studies suggest that passion flower extracts may even have mild anti-inflammatory and anti-seizure benefits. May Help Reduce the Effects of Menopause, Including Hot Flashes & Depression. Menopause is associated with feeling of anxiety and depression, which is often caused by low levels of amma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), which is a chemical in the brain. Hormone therapy that relies on modern medicine can create a lot of unwanted side effects. Studies have been conducted that show that passion flower can treat menopausal symptoms such as vasomotor signs (hot flashes and night sweats), insomnia, depression, anger, headaches, and may be a great alternative to conventional hormone therapy.
🌿 Catnip, the ultimate feline herb, for centuries cats have been going crazy over this plant. It makes them happy and spunky, yet has a more sedating effect on people. Catnip has been used in European folk medicine for generations as a calming agent for body and mind. It is gentle and is very useful for children and infants.
🌿 Kava Kava is most commonly used to calm anxiety, stress, restlessness and treat insomnia. It's also used for ADHD symptoms, epilepsy, psychosis, depression, migraines, chronic fatigue syndrome, common cold and other respiratory tract infections, tuberculosis, muscle pain, cancer prevention, urinary tract infections, pain and swelling of the uterus, & menstrual discomfort. It's a wonderful addition to any sleep aid, however kava kava should not be taken for long periods of time.

🌿 A good strong herbal tincture is some of the best medicine available. The strong taste is largely due to the amount of herb that has been drawn into the liquid, and alcohol draws out more herbal properties than anything else. While you can make tinctures out of glycerin, they will not be as strong and will not have the same extended shelf life as an alcohol tinctured herb. A less powerful tincture means that you will have to take more to equal the same dose as one made from alcohol.
🌿 Fun fact: The amount of alcohol in the average dose of a tincture is equal to the amount of alcohol in a ripe banana.

>>> What is the best way to take liquid herbal extracts?
Mix the liquid extract into water or juice for consumption. Mix the prescribed number of extract drops into a few ounces of water. You can also add the drops to warm tea (not piping hot) or juice. Certain herbs may be damaged by high heat, so avoid adding the extract to "hot" water, Tea, or coffee. Taking them straight from the dropper may cause a burning sensation in the mouth. If you choose to take the extract straight, please have water handy to drink immediately after.

How to keep my soap bar lasting longer?
• The more thoroughly a soap bar can dry out between uses, the longer it will last. Make sure to use a soap saver or soap dish so that your soap can dry out between uses. Don't allow your soap to sit in a puddle of water or let the shower pour down on it. For soap saver trays and pouches, please visit our shop.
• Softer water usually makes your soap last longer because the soap lathers more quickly so you don't have to rub it as much.
• A person who uses a washcloth, sea sponge, or a different lathering aid will use less soap than one who rubs the soap directly over the skin.
Do you use nut oils?
Yes we do. PLEASE contact me if you have ANY questions or need a certain product made without certain ingredients & I will do my best to accommodate you.

Why do you list your skin care products as being gluten free? Isn't that just a food allergy?
No, it's much more than just a food allergy. People who have a gluten sensitivity or Celiac disease, should avoid gluten in ALL products, this includes your skin care, make up, hair care and personal care products.
If you or anyone you know has Celiac Disease or a Gluten allergy, please refrain from using ANY product that contains gluten.
